A business which started in June 2020 from a small room As an architect and civil engineer from IIT Roorkee I had always been a corporate warrior. However due to lack of time for my family and my social work I quit this job to start something of my own - an Indoor Play and Partyarea. We invested our savings into this place in Feb'20 completely unaware that a Devil named CORONA is going to eat up businesses like never before. Covid struck and we had to shut this place in less than 2 months. Covid situation was getting worse and all the schools were shut with children stuck inside houses. Social media posts about options for engaging kids indoors became a daily affair. And that's when a unique idea struck me - IF KIDS CAN'T GO TO PLAYAREA LETS TAKE PLAYAREA TO KIDS!! We already had Big and Expensive toys sitting on the inventory. So we decided to rent them out. And that's how Gurgaon's Premium and Big Toy Library came into being 🙂 There were logistical challenges since orders were very few so we couldn't hire a vehicle or staff. We managed everything ourselves. It was very tough but we had no other choice. The journey that we started on 18th June 2020 with few toys grew leaps and bounds with the love of Gurgaon folks. As they say - मैं अकेला ही चला था जानिब-ए-मंज़िल मगर लोग साथ आते गये और कारवां बनता गया I wouldn't say that the service became an instant hit since people were still apprehensive about renting big toys. But I believe that perseverance coupled with honesty and dedication is bound to yield results 🙂 Gradually sales started soaring and we had to invest more into this business to meet the growing demand. We started with a small toy renting business which is now into complete party Playarea setups. Still sounds unbelievable to me. Its just the love of our customers which has kept us going. Our customers who praise us, refer us and keep coming back to us. Our customer service and honest attitude which made the growth exponential and its the core value which we will never compromise upon :)
